Mop Fair

Mop Fairs have been a tradition in many English towns for hundreds of years. A Mop Fair takes place in Chipping Sodbury twice a year, in Spring and Autumn. It is held on a Friday and Saturday and the dates for 2023 are:

Road Closures will be in place as follows from 07.00 on Friday until 03.00 hrs on Sunday.

Broad Street will be closed from Horse Street to Hounds Road

High Street will be closed from Broad Street to the Police Station

Hounds Road will be closed from Broad Street to Hounds Close

Wickwar Road will be closed from High St to Barnhill Road

Proposed alternative route: St Johns Way, Cotswold Rd, Kennedy Way, Horse St & Hatters Lane.
