I have lived and worked in Chipping Sodbury all of my life, running our family business 'Dando's Garage' on Rounceval Street for over 24 years. I then started my own business at the same premises in 2015 called James Ball Cars Ltd, specialising in the sale of Sports and Prestige cars. I am always keen to promote our beautiful Town and I am extremely proud to be Mayor and also a councillor representing the good people of Chipping Sodbury. I am very much looking forward to a busy year ahead, meeting as many people as possible at some incredible events taking place in the Town over the coming months.

I have lived in Chipping Sodbury all of my life and attended the Old Grammar school and subsequently King Edmunds in Yate where I started my rugby career. I played for Chipping Sodbury Rugby Club for 36 years and am still a member. I enjoy game shooting and country sports and am a member of Chipping Sodbury Town Trust and Sodbury Common Conservators.
