Public Conveniences

It is with regret that the public conveniences in Chipping Sodbury are currently closed. This is due to significant damage that the pipework suffered during the winter which has led to much material damage in the conveniences.

Due to financial constraints the Council has decided to implement a phased maintenance programme for the conveniences. The first phase is to have the pipework totally replaced. Once this has been done the accessible facility will be re-opened for use by all with the installation of a coin operated (20p) system with radar override. We are working hard to ensure this can happen as soon as possible.

The future plan for the current female and male facilities is to have them refurbished into single unisex units which will be coin operated. This work will take place in future financial years.

Please direct any comment or concerns to the Town Clerk.
