Welcome to the Sodbury Town Council website. We are a Town Council within the unitary authority of South Gloucestershire with a population of 5000 people. The Town Council includes the Wards of Old Sodbury, South West Chipping Sodbury and North East Chipping Sodbury.

Food & Drink Festival
The annual festival will take place on September 9th & 10th. There is a food trail and pub quiz on the Friday and a Food truck rally and stalls on the Saturday between 10.00 & 16.00.
There will be road closures on the Saturday which will be well advertised with diversion signs in place.

The Town Council administers many of the local facilities in Sodbury. Full details can be found in the ‘Town Council’ section but include floral displays, CCTV, grass cutting and Children’s Play Areas. The Town Council employs two staff, the Town Clerk and an Assistant Clerk.

The Town Council has 15 elected Councillors who work on a voluntary basis to represent the people of Sodbury. All Councillors are governed by a Code of Conduct to ensure residents are represented in an appropriate manner.

The Town Council has an office at The Old Reading Rooms, 26 High Street in Chipping Sodbury and employs the Town Clerk, Mrs Cate Davidson who manages the day to day running of the Council with her assistant Ms Jackie Stallard. The office is normally open from 09.30-12.30 Monday to Thursday.
